Speaker Bio:
A passionate fundraiser for more than 30 years, David formed his own consulting practice, aptly named, LOVEfundraising, in 2012. He consistently delivers strategic counsel to large and small non-profits in Canada and the US to ultimately improve their fundraising effectiveness and make our communities better.
Prior to consulting, David successfully stewarded campaigns and championed fund development for leading organizations holding senior roles with UBC, the Justice Institute of BC and St. Paul’s Foundation. In a consulting role, notable clients include Burnaby Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, David Suzuki Foundation and Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS).
A certified fundraising executive (CFRE) 2009 - 2024, David served as President of the Greater Vancouver Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) concluding 5 years of Board service in 2021. Continuing to serve his life-long profession, David is now a Director with AFP Canada. For the past 30 years he has been a singer with internationally applauded Chor Leoni Choir.
