Mentorship

With the support of our partners, AFP is proud to offer two mentoring programs dedicated to fostering connections that promote career growth and create an inclusive and equitable future for the fundraising profession. 

Mentor program mentors and mentees participate in an eight-month long mentorship program, consisting of virtual meetings, as well as meetings at AFP ICON and AFP LEAD. Program pairs are matched based on compatibility of mentor expertise and mentee goals, ensuring that participants come away with the skills most relevant to them.

AFP/Alford Group Women’s Impact Initiative Mentor Program
The Women’s Impact Initiative (WII) was launched in 2018 to assess, address and highlight the specific issues and challenges that women in the fundraising profession face and to continuously create and market resources that help overcome gender inequity issues in the profession. Learn More
