Mike’s Monday Message: AFP Wants Your Opinion

As your professional association, it is AFP’s mission to provide you with the tools you need to effectively practice ethical fundraising, driving impact for your organization.

Part of how we determine whether or not we are successful in that effort is by asking you, as AFP members, to provide feedback on the value that you get from the benefits and services that AFP offers. 

That is why earlier this month, we sent out a survey, asking for your feedback, to help us improve our programming to make sure that the opportunities we are providing the fundraising community are in line with the needs of the profession. 

If you are an AFP member, you should have received an email on March 4 from Vice President, Membership & Chapter Engagement, Taryn Gold containing a personalized survey link. This unique link protects the confidentiality of questionnaire responses and ensures data integrity. I’d like to encourage all of you to use this link to complete the 15-minute survey on membership benefits. 

April 1 is the deadline to complete the survey. Upon completion, you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of five $100 gift cards.

AFP has contracted with an independent, non-affiliated third party to collect and analyze the data that is provided. 

Your responses will enable us to:

• Gain a deeper understanding of your needs and expectations as a member.
• Identify areas where we excel and areas where we can improve.
• Tailor our programs, services, and resources to better meet your needs.
• Strengthen our community and foster meaningful connections among our members.

The survey will only take 15 minutes of your time, but its impact will be felt for years to come. Your insights will directly influence the development of future programming and prioritization of new initiatives that will better serve you and our entire fundraising community.
