Anne Murphy, the founder of Empowered Fundraiser Consulting, has over 25 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit advancement. Having successfully led campaigns and raised hundreds of millions of dollars, Anne not only brings her extensive expertise but also a skilled team of subject matter experts specialized in digital marketing, event planning, database conversions, board development, and more.

Kat McCarron has 14 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, leading advancement teams in higher education, independent schools and a public policy think-tank. In her last place of employment, Kat used the Raise product (formally Gravyty). Kat has increased donor participation at every organization she has worked at. Today, Kat works with Raise clients to develop strategies to see success in every area of their advancement team.

Janelle Simms, CFRE is passionate about helping others make a lasting impact in their community through philanthropy and volunteerism. She has spent more than 15 years as a fundraiser in the nonprofit sector, serving various nonprofits focused on health services and the arts. Janelle is currently the Director of Annual Giving at Seattle University, and she brings significant expertise in digital fundraising and marketing which has helped modernize SU’s annual giving program and usher their giving day into a new era of growth.
